Participate in a Conversation Group

English At Large offers free groups for English conversation practice. Any local adult may join a conversation group.

About the Groups

•	English At Large volunteers lead each group.
•	Groups meet in local libraries and community centers once a week for 1.5 - 2 hours.
•	Each group meets for at least eight weeks.
•	Groups meet in the spring and in the fall.
•	Groups are appropriate for intermediate to advanced ESOL students. Students must understand at least 70% of the English they hear.
•	Students may register for only one conversation group at a time.

How to join a conversation group

1.	View the conversation group schedule (pdf).
2.	Choose a conversation group.
3.	Contact the English At Large office by or phone (781-395-2374) to register. Late registrations are accepted.
